The selection was the first book I finished in 2014 and immediately I knew that this was going to be one of my favourite series. I managed to read the elite in January too and the wait for the one was a long one. My overall thoughts on the outcome of this series are that the ending was everything I was hoping for. I really loved it and I am so glad that I was able to read it. I would totally recommend this trilogy to everyone. I did feel that the last hundred or so pages of the one were somewhat heart breaking and almost had me crying at several occasions.
